Weekly activity looked stronger: Sacramento-area builders averaged 119 sales per week, compared with 111 in Early-Q2 and 91 in Mid-Q2 2025 locally.
Within the local ranking, Sacramento remained third with 55 new-home sales, keeping the city among the region’s most active builder markets recently.
Industry leadership framed 2026 as fairly normal for Sacramento builders, with ~6% mortgage rates, incentives, and limited resale inventory supporting buyers moving forward.
